Since this is the 4th such democratic and peaceful election that took place in Harar, and since the election process itself is getting refined each time to make voting easier and appealing to have better means of drawing more and more voters to the voting booth, this in and of itself is an indicative of the direction where Ethiopia is heading; to the better Ethiopia.

Having said that, HHC would like to congratulate and thank all the people of Harar in general, and especially the Organizing Committees and candidates of all the parties for giving us such competitive, successful and remarkable election. Now that the campaigning period is behind us and the people who are eligible to vote, the people who we all wish the best for chose the candidates they thought will work best for them, we believe it is the moral duty of all the parties and everyone to honor the peoples' wishes and accept whatever the outcome may be.
